Comment on the poem

A Minor Bird by Robert Frost

I have wished a bird would fly away,
And not sing by my house all day;

Have clapped my hands at him from the door
When it seemed as if I could bear no more.

The fault must partly have been in me.
The bird was not to blame for his key.

And of course there must be something wrong
In wanting to silence any song.

The poem " A Minor Bird " was written by Robert Frost. The poem opens with scene that he tries to fly away the bird because the song of the bird bothers the speaker. The speaker claps his hand to drive away the bird. At one point the speaker realises that the problem is not in the song of bird instead it is with the speaker. At the end of the poem the speaker recognises the fact that there is really something wrong with wanting to silence the birds song.

This poem expresses the man's inability to appreciate the nature. The poem made up with the rhyme scheme AABBCCDD.
